Quick Recap of Episode 3

In Episode 3, Maya, Leo, Sara, and Adam discovered that Room 3B was not a normal classroom. It was part of a secret school escape-room project. They solved the first task, opened a locked box, and recorded a message for the next group.

For a moment, the project seemed fun and safe. Then the digital timer started by itself. When it reached zero, a light appeared above the door with a new message: LEVEL 2 UNLOCKED.

The words above the door glowed softly: LEVEL 2 UNLOCKED. For a few seconds, nobody moved. Then a narrow panel beside the whiteboard opened with a quiet click. Behind it was a dark staircase leading down.

“That was definitely not on the school map,” Adam said. He tried to sound calm, but his voice was tight. Maya took the first step. She felt nervous, but she was too curious to leave. The others followed her down the stairs, one by one.

At the bottom, they found a room that looked nothing like the classroom above. It was an underground observation room. Old monitors covered one wall. Wires crossed the ceiling. Folders, cassette tapes, photographs, and student files were stacked across a long wooden desk.

Sara picked up a folder marked PAST GROUPS. Inside were photos of students standing in Room 3B. Some pictures looked recent, but others seemed much older. Under each photo was a group number and a date. Group 1. Group 2. Group 6. Group 7.

Leo leaned closer to one of the screens. It showed silent black-and-white footage of Room 3B from above. “Are these security cameras?” he asked. Nobody answered. The idea of being watched changed the mood immediately.

Adam opened another file and found a printed evidence sheet. It listed the tasks each group had completed. Most groups had finished Level 1. A few had reached Level 2. But after that, the notes stopped.

“Why are there no final messages?” Sara asked. Her question made the room feel colder. Maya looked through the recordings and found several tapes labelled Level 1. There were no tapes labelled Level 3.

Suddenly, the largest monitor turned on by itself. Lines of green text appeared on the screen. Then a distorted voice came through the speakers: “Group 3 has entered Level 2.”

Leo stepped back. “Okay. That is new.”

The voice continued: “To continue, choose one file. To leave, close the door behind you. But remember: every group leaves a record.”

Maya stared at the screen. The message sounded like part of the game, but something about it felt suspicious. “It knows we’re here,” she whispered.

Adam found a smaller folder hidden under the desk. It was labelled GROUP 7 — FAILED LEVEL 2. His face changed as he opened it. Inside was a photo of four students beside the same staircase. On the back, someone had written a warning in red marker.

Do not trust the voice.

For the first time, nobody laughed. The project no longer felt like a simple school tradition. It felt like a secret with rules they did not understand. Then the screen flashed again and showed one final question: DO YOU WANT TO CONTINUE?
